Kennel Gemelan

Short history and intorduction....

We do have a human mother too, Leila. She was born in Kotka in 1952, is devorced and at the moment she is at home because of her hands which are almost useless nowdays thanks to a very hard job she did more than 20 years. She will propably be officielly retired quite soon because of her hands.

Leila got her kennel name, Gemelan, at the end of 80´s. It comes from the word "gemini".

Leila felt in love with dandies at 1994 when she met a pepper dog Marfidal Duke Doolittle (Frodo). You can see Frodo´s photo on the left.

Frodo lived with us for some times before he moved to Sweden. Now he has passed away already but his memory will always stay in leila´s heart and mind.

So much about Frodo... Now it´s my turn to tell!

May I introduce my self....I am Pipari! And the one who is holding me is Leila, the one who owns (and feeds) us. She has her own page so I´d rather tell about our home now.

We live in coutryside in an old house. There is plenty of room to run around and bark as well. And forest starts right after a corner. I just have to run fast about 30 meters, then take sharp curve to the right and run as fast as I can about 100 meters (road goes downwards so it is possible to run really fast!) and I´ll be in forest. Cool!

We do have a garden too. There is a fence going around it but sometimes we manage to sneak away under gate and then we always go into that 100m straight road (if you can call it as road...it is so small!) and test who is fastest.

Even thought there are quite many of us we live inside a house with humans. Not in any kind of kennel building.

That was the most important things I think. Now it is our turn to tell more about us! We shall introduce our human mother later. So, hurry up and klick the button "Dogs"...
