My name is Marjut Löfqvist and I live in Central Finland near Jyvaskyla. The little village I live in is called Puuppola. 

I have always had dogs. At the moment I have three dandies living with me: Patti, Santtu and Sirkku and I also have few dandies co-onwed but they live in their own families.

Me and my twin sister Tarja had our first dandie in 1992. We had met these funny little dogs at my friend´s home and we immediately fall in love with those. Our first dandie was called "Elsa" (Marfidal Emergency Exit). Elsa was behaving like a queen and she was totally Tarja´s dog. 

Our kennel name was chosen for Cocker Spaniels which we also had at that time. We wanted to have kennel name which would be suitable for other breeds as well. We found a "Book of Stories and Tales" and liked the name "Carmilhan". 

We bred two very small Cocker Spaniel litters and one Clumber Spaniel litter and one Dandie litter on Carmilhan kennel name with my sister. Then we thought that it would be easier to have our own kennel names becaus we live quite far from each other. I got the Carmilhan affix and Tarja had a new one, Galbaras. 

I still co-operate with my sister and we have few co-owned dandies.
